Buy Auto Parts Online

The two real fears about buying parts online are getting the wrong part and paying money and never seeing the goods. Here is how each one is handled.

Updated:

Why not just go to the market

To learn prices at a market you walk from shop to shop — and by the last one you no longer remember what the first quoted. In an online catalogue the shops selling the same part sit in one list, side by side.

The second difference: at a market the outcome of haggling depends on who you happen to talk to. In a catalogue the price is written and it is the same for everyone.

The same applies to Tashkent's big auto parts markets, like Farhod (Uchtepa) or Sergeli: each is hundreds of separate stalls, and comparing prices across them takes a trip. TezDetal is a marketplace that brings independent auto parts shops from across Uzbekistan into one catalogue.

Steps of a purchase

  • Find the part — by name, by category, or by part / OEM number. The last is the most precise.
  • Check fitment — the product page has a "Fits" section. If unsure, message the shop in chat.
  • Look at the shop — rating, reviews, location and opening hours are on its page.
  • Place the order — give an address, and the delivery price is calculated.
  • Pay — card or cash. With a card the money sits on the platform account.

Through the Telegram bot — no browser needed

You can order without opening the site at all: message `/start` to @tezdetal_bot on Telegram. The bot searches for the part, shows the price, and takes the order the same way the site does — same money protection: a card payment goes to the platform's account, not the seller's.

Handy when a part is needed urgently: no app to install, Telegram is already open on the phone.

Where your money sits

This is the central question of online buying, and the answer is specific: card payments go to the platform account, not to the seller's card. The seller's card number is never shown to a buyer.

The money reaches the seller only after delivery. If the order is cancelled or never arrives, it comes back to you. Money transferred straight to a seller could not be recovered, which is why this ordering is not a formality — it is the protection itself.

Registration — phone only

An account is opened with a phone number: an SMS code goes to your `+998...` number. There is no email and no Google sign-in — a phone is needed anyway, since the courier will call.

Registration is free and there is no subscription.

If something goes wrong

Full procedure: Returns and refunds.

  • The part does not fit — returnable within 14 days if unused and not installed.
  • The part is faulty — returnable regardless of the deadline.
  • You installed it and it did not fit — not returnable. Which is why checking comes BEFORE installation.
  • The order never arrived — the money is on the platform and comes back to you.

Frequently asked questions

Is buying auto parts online safe?
When you pay by card the money goes to the platform account rather than to the seller, and reaches them only after delivery. If the order is not delivered or is cancelled, the money is returned. The seller's card number is never shown to the buyer.
How do I know the part fits my car?
The most precise route is the catalogue (OEM) number from the old part. Then the VIN, then model + year + engine size. The product page has a "Fits" list and you can confirm with the shop in chat.
Is online more expensive than the market?
The shop sets its own price. The price in the catalogue is final: the platform's commission is already inside it and nothing hidden is added on top. Delivery is shown separately.
Can I order without registering?
No — an account is needed to track the order and contact the shop. Registration takes a minute: a phone number and an SMS code, free of charge.
Can I pay cash?
Yes, cash to the courier is available. But paying by card protects the buyer better: with cash the money never passes through the platform and the refund mechanism does not apply.
Several shops sell the same part — which do I choose?
Beyond price, look at two things: the shop rating and its location. A closer shop delivers cheaper and faster, because the delivery price depends on distance.
How fast can I order if I need a part urgently, without leaving home?
If you know what you need (name or OEM number), you can find the part, enter your address and phone, and place the order in under 5 minutes. Registration (phone number + SMS code) takes under a minute. Visiting the site is not required — the same order can be placed through the Telegram bot @tezdetal_bot.
Can I buy in bulk (wholesale)?
Yes — there's no fixed wholesale price list on the platform, since each shop sets its own price. For a large quantity (e.g. for a repair shop or resale), message the shop directly via the product page's chat — state the quantity and agree on a price. Many shops are open to a discount for repeat or large orders, but that is a negotiation, not a guaranteed rate.
Does TezDetal only cover Tashkent, or the whole of Uzbekistan?
Most shops are currently based in Tashkent, but the catalogue and search are open across all of Uzbekistan — sellers from any region can open a shop on TezDetal. Set your region and the nearest shop is shown first, with delivery cost calculated by distance. Search works the same way regardless of which city you're in — open the catalogue and pick your region.
How do I find the part I need if I don't know its exact name?
You can search without a name or OEM number: pick a category (e.g. "brakes" or "filters"), then your model and year — the system narrows it down to what fits. Still unsure? Describe the problem to the shop in the product page's chat — they can point you to the right part.
Buying auto parts for the first time — where do I start?
First note three things about your car: model, year, and if possible the engine size — found in the registration papers or via VIN. Enter these into TezDetal's search and only matching offers show up. Still not sure? Confirm directly with the shop in the product page's chat.
Are parts available only for one brand, or for any car?
The catalogue covers the most common models in Uzbekistan: Nexia, Malibu, Cobalt, Lacetti, Matiz, Spark, Tracker, Equinox, Captiva and more — not just GM/UzAuto Motors. If your model isn't in the category list, type the model name directly into search or ask the shop in chat — many can source parts on request.
